Remember me O Lord!

Bible Text: Genesis 30:22-24

Then God remembered Rachel; he listened to her and enabled her to conceive.23 She became pregnant and gave birth to a son and said, “God has taken away my disgrace.”  She named him Joseph,[a] and said, “May the Lord add to me another son.”

It is easy to give up hope when in distress. In these times we should not forget that God is mighty to save. We should cry out to God. He will remember us at our point of need and come to our rescue.

Joseph was remembered, even after being forgotten for 2 years in prison by the one he had helped (Genesis 41:41-44) . Rachel was remembered after the unimaginable pain and shame of having no child.  (Genesis 30:22-24)
Our God is able to remember us and save us from all that steals our joy away.

He is our Deliver. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17)

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I commit my life in your hands. As I cry to You Lord, Remember me!

And unto Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we could ever ask or think,to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.

Amen!
