Irrespective of which situation we are faced with, we need wisdom.
Solomon who was now King in his Father's place, David, needed wisdom to govern his people. For a success of a nation, it requires a leader who leads with wisdom.
Upon God's request, Solomon asked for wisdom. Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours?” (2 Chronicles 1:10)
In the course of Solomon's reign he led his people with wisdom and this brought him success as a king and to his people. God gave Solomon wisdom and very great insight, and a breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand on the seashore. Solomon's wisdom was greater than the wisdom of all the people of the East, and greater than all the wisdom of Egypt. (1 Kings 4:29-30)
To have a successful life, we need wisdom which only God can give. Just as God gave Solomon wisdom, he has promised to give us wisdom, all we need to do is ask and believe we have received it.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I commit my life in your hands. I ask for Wisdom in all i do, that I may be successful in everything I do.
And unto Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we could ever ask or think, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.
Amen!
