Believe and You shall Receive

Bible Text: Mark 11:22-25

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1)When we pray to God our faith in his ability to grant our request is what makes the difference.

On several occasions Jesus commended the faith exhibited by those who called upon his name for a miracle. To the woman with the issue of blood He said: "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering." (Mark 5:34)

When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" "Yes, Lord," they replied. (Matthew 9:28)

Your faith speaks a million. It proves that you know the God you serve. The God who is more than able to do exceedingly above all that we could ever ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20). This Faith in God can be as little as a mustard seed, which is about 1mm in size, we can move mountains.

What then prevents us from having faith even as small as a tiny mustard seed. This is from doubt that grows from our little knowledge of God. God is our able God. We must fill our minds with truths about him, this will help clear all doubts and allow us to receive from God what we ask.

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20)

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I commit my life in your hands. I believe that you are God and you are able to do exceedingly above all I have asked you. Renew our faith in you O Lord.

And unto Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we could ever ask or think, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.

Amen!
