Who is Jesus? is He God?
The debate of the Supremacy of Jesus has been one of utmost concern as the basis of the Christian Faith is rooted on this fact.
The Scriptures holds all the answers on the questions regarding the supremacy of Jesus as the Son of God. The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. (Colossians 1:16)
Jesus spoke of Himself as God to the pharisees. This they received with much contempt as Blasphemy as Jesus was claiming himself God.
“Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” (John 8:58)
This Jesus who is knocking at the door of your heart seeking to come in and abide you and make you his own is God Himself. For He and God are one. I and the Father are one (John 10:30)
In Him all things were made and without him nothing was made that has been made. (John 1:4) The universe, are the works of hands. He is the master of the entire universe. (Job 38:4-10)
Without him there is no life for he is the way and the truth and the life. (John 14:6) The air we breathe is the work of his hands. He died that we may have life and all he seeks is for us to accept him into our lives, live for him and give him preeminence over all our affairs. He wants to let his light shine in us and prepare us for a home above. What do we have to say to this proposal?
MAKE THE MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE YOUR FRIEND
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I commit my life in your hands. Master of the Universe come into my heart and make it your own. Take away all things that draw me away from you.
And unto Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we could ever ask or think, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.
Amen!
